Jack Russell Puppies (non-pedigree)
Jacks Russells are tough, tenacious and excitable little terriers.
With origins in fox hunting, Jack Russell puppies have retained some of that temperament, indicated by their active nature and boundless energy.
A Jack Russell puppy will grow to approximately 12”-14” (30-35cm) in height, and a weight of 12-14 pounds (507kg).
Jack Russell puppies come in a number of colours: all white, white and black, tan, and lemon markings.
The coats of Jack Russell puppies can be rough or smooth, with minimal grooming required in both cases.
Capable of adapting to apartments, they will require exercising regularly, so may be happier with a garden to bounce about in.
Jack Russell puppies need firm and consistent training from an early age to iron out their potential stubborn streak, but when socialised properly, prove to be great additions to active families or loyal companions to single owners.

More Information on Jack Russell Puppies
Jack Russell puppies can claim ancestry to a breed developed by Reverend John Russell in the early19th century, in a bid to create an ideal fox terrier, possessing the stamina to keep up with the hunt and drive foxes from their holes.
New strains were added for new roles such as badger hunting and, in this century, as companion pets, before the emergence of the Jack Russells we see today.
But in sturdiness and tenacity, and in body shape, Jack Russells don’t differ dramatically from their ancestors two hundred years ago.
When you take a Jack Russell for a walk, you see the abiding strength of their hunter instincts, being always alert and curious about any movements in the grass.
Their energy levels remain high despite their stature which is why they are favoured pets for active owners.
And their curiosity has, of course, been immortalised by Nipper, the Jack Russell staring into a phonogram, used previously as the symbol of EMI, and now the high-street chain HMV.
