Boxer Puppies
Boxers are a very demanding and energetic dog with distinctive faces, comprising an upturned muzzle and down turned jowls .
Boxer puppies grow from 22″ to 25″ (53 to 63cm) tall and can weigh between 55 to 70 pounds (25 to 32kg).
They come in a variety of colours, dark red, red and fawn or brindle with or without white markings and also pure white.
Due to them having a short coat, grooming is very low maintenance, only needing a quick brush from time to time.
Boxer puppies will not adapt to apartment life as they are very energetic; they are best suited to country or town living as long as they get plenty of exercise.
Training of Boxer puppies should start early and the owner needs to be firm, consistant and patient, as they can be slow learners and are very head strong.
Activities such as fly ball and agility make great stimulation for this breed.
Boxer puppies make a loving, playful and protective family dog, although may be better suited to older children as they are a very boisterous breed.

More Information on Boxer Puppies
Boxers are a German breed, originating in the late 19th century when British bulldogs – hence the jowls – were crossed with the now extinct Bullenbeisser.
The breed has been conscripted for military service being deployed as a messenger, guard or attack dog, and gained wider ownership from soldiers bringing them home after the second world war.
There’s no firm agreement on how the breed came to be called Boxer, but there is agreement that they make good pets, are well-behaved with children and only when mixing with other larger dogs may does the more aggressive side of their character come to the fore.
This can be remedied by early socialisation and training.
