Bichon Frise puppies have a white, curly-haired outer coat, making them resemble a cuddly, canine snowball.  They are considered to be gentle mannered, sensitive, affectionate, playful with an endearing nature, which makes them a hugely popular pet. They can grow to approximately 9”-11” (23-28cm), and a weight of 7-12 pounds (3-5kg).

A Bichon Frise is always white but puppies sometimes carry shades of apricot and cream, which fades over time. They are eminently adaptable little dogs, so will be content sitting on sofas in apartments and houses but ideally would enjoy a garden to gad about in.

Possessing an irresistibly cute, fluffy Bichon Frise puppy comes at a cost – and that’s not just purchase price.  Bichon Frises puppies require a lot of grooming, as they have two coats and must be brushed daily to prevent matting.  But their popularity shows that, for many, it’s a price worth paying due to the pleasure they bring to families or single owners.

Bichon Frises puppies enjoy being the centre of attention so can be a little demanding if you have young children taking the spotlight away from them.  And care should be taken with the training of bitches, as they can be prone to stubbornness.  This is easily ironed out, though, by early and consistent training.
